Bertie Maher
Senior AssociateBertie focuses on tech and tech-enabled businesses across Western Europe.
Prior to joining capital D in 2024, he was a Senior Investment Analyst at SellerX in London, a roll-up M&A platform and Europe’s fastest profitable company to reach unicorn status (14 months), where he worked on a wide range of mid-market growth buyout transactions in e-commerce and select software across the US and Europe. He has previously held positions at 17Capital (now the portfolio financing arm of Oaktree Capital), EY and Capita Scaling Partner, amongst others. He is also an opportunistic angel investor.
Bertie earned an MSc in Management from the London School of Economics and a BA (Hons) in Politics & Philosophy from the University of Manchester.
Outside work, Bertie enjoys travelling, reading, exercising and collecting vinyls.
