Daryl Cohen

Daryl focusses on sourcing and executing investment opportunities across the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands, and working with his portfolio companies to drive value.

Since joining Capital D, he has been part of the VONQ, Qmee, Phrasee and Electrify teams, and is always on the look-out for ambitious teams to partner with in disruptive companies. He is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs realise the full potential of their companies and enjoys the challenge of working with ambitious and driven leaders.

Before joining Capital D, he accumulated 16 years’ investing experience at firms including Inflexion, Vision Capital and Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, after starting his career at Goldman Sachs. He has significant experience in equity and credit investing across a wide range of industries.

He currently sits on the boards of Phrasee and VONQ, and previously served at Qmee.

He holds a first class degree in natural sciences from University of Cambridge.

Outside work he is on the board of an exciting tech start-up, and enjoys travelling to wild places and looking after his young family.
