Jean-Marc Jabre

Jean-Marc co-founded Capital D in 2017. He currently shares his time between running Capital D, covering investors and leading our coverage of investment opportunities across a number of countries. Jean-Marc co-led our investments in Invincible Brands, Qmee and VONQ, on the board of which he currently serves.

Jean-Marc’s investment career started in 2000 in Menlo Park, California where he invested in early stage technology and healthcare companies with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners. He subsequently spent ten years in London with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, a $1.5bn fund focused on mid-market leveraged buyouts in North America and Europe.

Before teaming up with Stephan to set up Capital D, Jean-Marc’s last role was Head of Private Equity for Morgan Stanley’s fund in Europe. Jean-Marc joined Morgan Stanley as an investment banker in New York following his graduate studies.

He earned an M.B.A. from INSEAD, a Masters of Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University. Jean-Marc speaks four languages.

Outside work Jean-Marc dedicates time to raising his young family, getting involved with charities and outdoor activities.
