Sophie Bidwell

Sophie is a strategic partner for Capital D and part of the founding team. She was a member of the Investment Committee of Fund 1 and currently supports the team through her differentiated input and by leading thematic deep dives.

After a career in banking and PE focused on retail and consumer goods at Goldman Sachs, Change Capital Partners and HgCapital, Sophie became an entrepreneur specialising in digital and disruption. She co-founded two high-end boutique strategy consultancies, eNova focussed on digital and Re_Set focussed on disruption and sustainability.

Sophie is an owner-director of a strategy consultancy Re_Set. Sophie is a sought after facilitator and speaker in the innovation, tech and sustainability communities.

Sophie is committed to supporting business as a force for good.

Outside work she enjoys spending time in Corsica, keeping fit and travelling with her family.
